We are very much happy to introduce ourselves that, Kakatiya Pvt Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Gajuwaka, and Visakhapatnam, established in the year 1980 with the inspiration of industrialists, retired engineers and employees of central and state government by forming a society to uplift the poor and backward people. It is the only private sector institute in the North coastal Andhra Pradesh offering varied technical courses (Electrician, Fitter, Welder and Mechanical Diesel) and offering excellent quality of curriculum including industrial exposure that gives much needed boost to employment in desired choice.

Every year near about 210 students are going out and many of our students placed in different government organizations like Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, BHEL (BHPV), Hindustan Shipyard, Dock yard etc. and in private sector like Cadbury India, Vijay electrical, and Varun Motors to name the few. At the same time, our students got placed in foreign multinational companies in Singapore, Dubai, Muscat and Qatar in shipyard and oil sectors.

The Union minister lauded Kakatiya Private Industrial Training Centre at Gajuwaka for giving much needed boost to employment in MSME sector, particularly in manufacturing sector, by imparting industrial specific training and offering excellent quality of curriculum including industrial exposure. “We need more skilled people to suit the requirements of the manufacturing sector to make our Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s slogan of ‘Make in India’ successful,” he added.

On the occasion, Kakatiya Private Industrial Training Centre president and Sravan Shipping Services Private Limited managing director G Sambasiva Rao appealed to the Union minister for setting up an SDC as well as a Centre for Excellence in Visakhapatnam for training aspiring youth in skill development, providing them with necessary skills and meet industry demand for skilled workers. Rajiv Pratap Rudy responded favourably and assured to look into the issue.
